Welcome to AirlineMates A website developed by airline employees, purely for cabin crew and aircrew to share their flying rosters with family, friends and flying colleagues! Why? The idea for the site came from a very good mate of mine. The motivation to create AirlineMates was confirmed when I bumped into a good friend from another airline checking out of the same hotel as me in Osaka. We had spent 24 hours on a crew layover in the same hotel and didn’t know it until checkout. What a waste! What can you do with this website? Well it’s not intended to be an online community with all the gimmicks like Facebook or Friendster. This site has been designed so you can easily share your monthly flying schedule with nominated friends and family around the world. The concept is quite simple. You sign up, input your roster either manually or via the roster importer and nominate the “Airline Mates” with whom you wish to share your roster, contact details & personal info. The software then automatically lets you know whenever your roster synchronizes with your nominated flying mates - i.e. If you are in the same city at the same time. It will also show common scheduled “Off” days with friends who live in the same city. You can nominate the family and friends that you want to receive an emailed copy of your flying schedule each month. You can also set your email alerts up so that your various friends around the world will be automatically notified in advance that you are visiting their city. It’s secure & private. Only members that YOU nominate and authorize can view your roster and personal information. Additionally, you can even restrict your nominated “Mates” access to your personal information. No information is shared with any third party. There are additional features within the site including the Members Benefits link where we would like you, as members, to pass on all your top tips, favourite bars, restaurants, great deals etc that are offered to flying crew around the world.
